Spread an even layer 3–5 cm deep. Scoop clumps and solids at least daily, then top up with fresh litter. Introduce a new litter gradually, and keep unused litter dry and well ventilated.
Tofu pellets disperse in water; bentonite is a mineral and does not dissolve.
Where local rules and your wastewater provider permit cat litter and pet waste, flush only small amounts at a time and allow them to disperse first. Otherwise, bag used litter and cat poo for household rubbish in line with local collection rules. Read our disposal guide.
Use a regular litter tray. This formula is not recommended for automatic litter boxes.
